Statement re transfer of ownership of Linton Park Plc ('Linton Park') shares
from Lawrie Group Plc ('Lawrie'), a subsidiary of Camellia, to Camellia

The Board of Camellia announces that the Camellia Group's shareholding in Linton
Park of 15,069,999 shares, representing approximately 79.16% of Linton Park's
issued share capital, has been transferred from Lawrie, a subsidiary of
Camellia, to Camellia. This transfer is being made to facilitate the process
which may lead to Camellia offering to acquire the remaining approximately
20.84% of the issued share capital of Linton Park not already owned by the
Camellia Group as announced on 7 June 2005.
Discussions regarding the potential acquisition are continuing with the Board of
Linton Park and may or may not lead to an offer being made.
