Capita Group PLC 10 December 2001 10 December 2001 THE CAPITA GROUP PLC CAPITA ACQUIRES MOORGATE REGISTRARS The Capita Group Plc ('Capita') has acquired the entire share capital of Moorgate Registrars Plc ('Moorgate'), a Chelmsford based registrar. The purchase consideration of £2 million is being satisfied in cash. Moorgate has an annual turnover of £650,000 and a small workforce of 10 people. The business will be integrated into Capita IRG, further consolidating Capita's position in the registration and shareholder services market.
