    CAPITA AND NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE COUNCIL PROPOSED PARTNERSHIP - UPDATE

In September of this year, North East Lincolnshire Council and The Capita Group
Plc ('Capita') announced that Capita was the preferred bidder for a partnership
agreement designed to improve council services, worth in the region of £175
million to Capita over 12 years.

Since then detailed contract negotiations have been ongoing but the two parties
have been unable to reach a mutually acceptable commercial agreement and, as a
result, the partnership will not be going ahead.
