Carillion plc (the Company) was notified today, Tuesday 3 January 2006, that the
Carillion plc Employee Share Ownership Trust (the Trust) on Tuesday 3 January
2006 transferred 1,524,806 Carillion plc ordinary shares of 50p each (0.71% of
the issued share capital) pursuant to the exercise of options under the
Carillion Sharesave Scheme: the option price was 126.6p.
The number of Carillion plc ordinary shares now held by the Trust is 2,192,152
(1.02% of the issued share capital).
The following PDMRs of the Company acquired shares as follows under this
exercise of options:
