Board changes
Roger Dickens CBE DL, retired today from the Carillion Board. David Maloney, who
is currently a non-executive director of Carillion, succeeds Roger as chairman
of the Audit Committee.
Roger Dickens was also senior independent non-executive director. David Garman
assumes the role of senior independent non-executive director of the Company.
Commenting, Carillion chairman Philip Rogerson said: 'Roger has made a
significant contribution to Carillion since joining the Board in May 2000, less
than a year after Carillion was launched as a separate company. Through his wise
counsel and commitment to the company's success, Roger has played a significant
part in Carillion's development and transformation, which has made it one of the
UK's leading support services and construction companies. He retires with my
personal thanks for his unswerving support, the grateful thanks of the board and
our best wishes for the future.'
