                       Acquisition of Shares by Directors


Carr's Milling Industries PLC announces it has been notified that Chris Holmes,
the Company's Chief Executive, and Ron Wood, Finance Director, exercised options
to purchase shares at £1.61 per share, under the terms of Carr's Milling
Industries Executive Share Option Scheme 1996 (unapproved) on 7 April 2008.


As a result of the above transactions, Mr Holmes' and Mr Wood's overall
shareholdings in the Company have increased as follows:
