INTERIM DIVIDEND DETAILS
HAMILTON, Bermuda - The Board of Directors of Catlin Group Limited has declared
an interim dividend of 8.1 pence (16.4 US cents) per share in respect of the
year ending 31 December 2007. The interim dividend will be paid on 9 November
2007 to shareholders of record at the close of business on 12 October 2007.
The interim dividend is payable in sterling (based on the exchange rate of £1 =
US$2.02 prevailing on 4 September 2007), except for shareholders who have
elected as at 5 September 2007 to receive their dividends in US dollars.
Shareholders who have not previously elected to receive dividends in US dollars
and who wish to do so in the future should contact the Company's registrar,
