NPG ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION OF NON-EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBER

Newsplayer Group plc ('NPG') announces today the agreed resignation of one of
its non-executive Board members, Rodger Sargent. Rodger, who has served as a
non-executive member of the Board since June 2000, intends to focus on his other
business interests which include Coliseum Group PLC. NPG intends to appoint a
replacement for Rodger within a reasonable period.

CEO, Paul Duffen expressed his thanks to Rodger for all his efforts on behalf of
the Company, saying: 'Rodger was a major driving force in the flotation of NPG,
and we are extremely grateful for his efforts and contribution to our success to
date'.
