                       LAUNCH OF NEWBURY PROPERTY WEEKLY

                       RAJAR WAVE 1 2006 AUDIENCE RESULTS

Milestone Group PLC ('Milestone'), the AIM listed media group, today announces
the successful launch of its first new title in an area outside its existing
publishing base.

Newbury Property Weekly, a guide to properties to buy and rent in West
Berkshire, has today been launched as a full colour broadsheet newspaper, to be
distributed free every week through over 100 outlets in the Newbury, Thatcham
and Hungerford areas.


Milestone Chief Executive, Andy Craig, said:


'This new launch is a significant development for the Group and opens up a new
territory for our future expansion. It is in line with our promise to seek to
focus on our core wholly-owned businesses in and around our Oxfordshire base.


'Newbury Property Weekly will be profitable from launch thanks to the synergies
it has with its sister titles in Oxfordshire. I am delighted that the title has
been so well received by estate agents seeking a new advertising outlet in an
area where we have not previously published.'


'We intend to continue to seek to develop the Property Weekly brand including
through our new on-line portals.'


Milestone also today announces it has successfully broadened the appeal of
Passion 107.9, its wholly owned radio station for Oxford and south Oxfordshire,
from its traditional base of young males to a more general audience with a
particular under-35 bias. The latest (Quarter 1, 2006) official RAJAR audience
figures show that the station has achieved more female than male listeners - in
line with its strategy of widening the breadth of the audience delivered to
advertisers within its market. The figures give the station 21,200 adult
listeners in total every week.
