The Rank Group Plc sign up to become the first employer for the participants of Milestone's Passion Project

Milestone, the AIM quoted (AIM: MSG) provider of digital media and technology solutions is pleased to announce that it has signed The Rank Group Plc ("Rank") as both a Corporate member of the Passion Project and an employment provider to the programme.

The Passion Project is an innovative digital youth engagement platform, which helps 16-24 year olds explore employment opportunities by identifying and developing their skills and passions and providing meaningful employment opportunities.

The Rank Group includes the well-known British brands Grosvenor Casinos (56 casinos) and Mecca (96 bingo clubs), as well as gaming offerings in Spain and Belgium. Rank and its brands have a long history of community involvement and charitable fundraising as well as being highly successful businesses.

Rank has been appointed as the lead employer of Passion Project's participants in the Leisure, Hospitality and Entertainment sector and will be making a wide range of digital and venue-based roles available for application by the participants. These applications will be considered on the same basis as any other applicants, with feedback delivered on all Passion Project applicants. It is anticipated that Rank will provide in the region of 1,500 employment opportunities over the coming 12 months across a range of venues and locations nationally. These opportunities will be advertised on the Passion Project portal and will help generate new revenues and growth for Milestone in the event of successful placements.

The Passion Project will work with its partners to assist Rank with their community engagement and training whilst also assisting with the development of innovative techniques to help promote Rank's venues and digital (online and mobile) activities. Both parties will benefit from joint marketing, cross-sector introductions and joint tenders / bid applications. Through a collaborated approach, the Passion Project and Rank will work together to improve the opportunities available to young people.
