Disclosable Interest

In  accordance with Section 198 of the Companies Act 1985
(as  amended) Robert Fleming Holdings Limited, on  behalf
of  itself and its subsidiaries, notified the Company  on
5th  September 2000 that it had a beneficial interest  in
3,378,300 ordinary shares representing 13.62 per cent. of
the issued share capital of the Company.

Robert Fleming Holdings Limited's interest comprises  the
interests of the following subsidiaries:
