Purchase of own shares for cancellation

Cenkos Securities plc (the "Company") announces that pursuant to the authority granted by shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 10 May 2012, on 2 November 2012 it purchased 6,800,000 of its own ordinary shares of 1 penny each ("shares") for cancellation. The price paid by the Company was 70 pence per share.

Further to this purchase for cancellation, the issued share capital of the Company consists of 65,971,170 shares and is divided into 62,678,405 Ordinary shares of 1 penny each which are admitted to trading on AIM, and 3,292,765 B shares of 1 penny each which are not admitted to trading on AIM.  All shares have equal voting rights. The Company's total issued share capital figure is therefore 65,971,170 shares. This number may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.

2,559,964 of the shares purchased were held by Andy Stewart.  Andy Stewart is treated as a substantial shareholder as prior to this transaction he held 8,559,964 shares representing 11.76% of the issued share capital of the Company.  Following this transaction Andy Stewart's holding has decreased to 6,000,000 shares representing 9.09% of the new issued share capital.

3,340,036 of the shares purchased were held by Prudential plc (group of companies). Following this transaction Prudential plc (group of companies) no longer has a notifiable interest in the Company.

The Company has now utilised almost all of the authority that was granted by shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting in May 2012 to make market purchases of its own shares.  The Company intends to seek further shareholder authority shortly so that it continues to have the flexibility to purchase its own shares.
