                            CENTAUR HOLDINGS PLC

Centaur Holdings PLC (the 'Company') announces that the High Court has approved
the cancellation of the share premium account of the Company and that the
cancellation became effective on 12 January 2005. This follows the passing at
the Company's AGM of a special resolution authorising the cancellation which
provides the Company with additional distributable reserves thereby allowing the
Company to pay dividends should the Directors consider this to be appropriate.
