Grant of Options

The Company announces that, on 6 October 2011, the following options ("Options") at an exercise price of $0.01 per share over ordinary shares in the Company were granted to Directors of the Company under the Central Asia Metals Employee Share Plan 2011.

The total market value of the shares subject to the Options granted to each Director is calculated at 100% of the annual salary of the relevant Director based on the average price of the Company's shares for the five trading days prior to the date of grant.  These Options will generally vest at the rate of 1/3^rd per annum, subject to the satisfaction of certain performance conditions.
