Transaction in Own Shares

Central Asia Metals plc (AIM:CAML), announces that on 28 November 2012 it purchased 68,000of its ordinary shares at an average price of 96.5147pence per ordinary share.  The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares was97 pence and 95 pence respectively. All the purchased shares will be held as Treasury shares.

Following the above purchase, the Company holds 1,213,929ordinary shares as Treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue is 84,952,005 (excluding ordinary shares held as treasury shares).
