Application has been made for in aggregate 9,811,239 Ordinary Shares of nominal
value €0.025 each in the capital of Celtic Resources to be admitted to dealing
on the Exploration Securities Market of the Irish Stock Exchange.  Of these
Ordinary Shares, 7,420,000 have been allotted pursuant to the Staff Incentive
Scheme and 1,890,217 have been allotted in lieu of directors remuneration and
fees (as previously notified). These allotments utilise specific authority
sought and received at the Annual General Meeting of the Company on 23 July
2001,  In addition 501,022 Ordinary Shares have been allotted following the
exercise of warrants.
