Bahamas Petroleum, the oil and gas exploration company with offshore licence permits in The Commonwealth of The Bahamas, announces that its Annual General Meeting ("AGM"), relating to the financial year ended 31 December 2010, will be held at Montague Sterling Centre, 2nd Floor, East Bay Street, PO Box SS-6276, Nassau, The Bahamas on 12 July 2011 at 10.00 a.m.

The AGM notice and the Company's annual report and accounts for the year ended 31 December 2010 have been today posted to shareholders and are available for download from the Company's website at www.bpcplc.com.
