Appointment of Finance Director
Chamberlin & Hill plc (the 'Company') is pleased to announce that Simon
Duckworth will be succeeded as the Company's Finance Director by Mark John
Thomas Bache.
Mark, aged 42, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds a
degree in Chemical Engineering from Birmingham University. Since leaving PWC's
Mergers and Acquisitions department in 1994, he has held senior positions at
Caparo plc, Partco plc and Viasystems Inc., before his most recent role as
Finance Director of PEL Limited, an £80 million turnover project management
business.
Mark will be appointed a Director and Finance Director Designate with effect
from Monday 20 November 2006. He will succeed Simon as Finance Director on 1
December 2006 prior to Simon's departure at the end of the year for family
reasons, as previously announced.
Chairman Tom Brown commenting on the appointment, said: 'I am delighted that
Mark will shortly be joining our board and he brings with him enormous relevant
financial experience. We are very much looking forward to working closely with
him as we move Chamberlin and Hill into the next phase of its development.'
Declarations:
Mark was a director of PEL Limited, the holding company of a construction group,
and a number of its subsidiaries (the 'PEL Group'), until 12 July 2006. The PEL
Group went into administration on 29 June 2006 and was subsequently sold as a
going concern.
There are no further details required to be disclosed under paragraph 9.6.13R of
the Listing Rules or Disclosure Rule 3.1.2R.
