Chemring Group PLC (the "Company") - Transaction in Own Shares

On 29 June 2012, a total of 16,601 ordinary shares of 1p each were issued from Treasury into the Chemring Group Performance Share Plan 2006 in satisfaction of the vesting of conditional awards made on 24 June 2009.

Following the above transaction, the Company holds a total of 2,207,181 ordinary shares as treasury shares and has a total of 193,282,378 ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held in Treasury).
