                     Appointment of Non-Executive Director


Christie Group is pleased to announce that Prodaman ('Pommy') Sarwal, aged 55,
will be joining the Board as a Non-Executive Director with effect from Monday 3
July 2006.


Pommy Sarwal was previously with Deloitte & Touche where he had been a Partner
in Corporate Finance since 2002. In addition he is a member of the Ports
Advisory Group of the DTI Trade & Investment Division and a Non-Executive
Director of Chatham Historic Dockyard and last week joined the Board of the Port
of London Authority.


There are no other requirements of AIM Rule Schedule 2(g) that fall to be 
disclosed.
