Annual General Meeting
The City of London Investment Trust plc hereby gives notification that at the
Annual General Meeting of the Company held today all the resolutions, as set
out in full in the notice of meeting dated 7 September 2001, were duly passed
on a show of hands. One of the resolutions gave authority to the Company to
make market purchases of up to 30,767,127 ordinary shares (being 14.99% of the
ordinary shares in issue at 1 November 2001).
Mr James Titcomb resigned from the board following the Annual General Meeting
today. Mr Simon de Zoete has been elected Chairman with immediate effect.
