Dividend on Ordinary Shares

The Board of The City of London Investment Trust plc announces that:

A first interim dividend of 4.75p per Ordinary Share of 25p, in respect of the year ending 30 June 2020 will be paid on 29 November 2019 to holders registered at the close of business on 25 October 2019.  The Company's shares will go ex-dividend on 24 October 2019.

The dividends will be paid from the Company's revenue account.
