Dividend Resolution - 8 March 2007
The Board of The City of London Investment Trust plc announces:
Dividend on the Ordinary Shares
That a third interim dividend of 2.62p per Ordinary Share of 25p, in respect of
the year ending 30 June 2007, be paid on 31 May 2007 to holders registered at
the close of business on 27 April 2007. The Company's shares will go
ex-dividend on 25 April 2007.
The Board also intends to pay a fourth interim dividend of 2.62p per share (this
does not represent a profit forecast) for the year to 30 June 2007. The fourth
interim dividend will be declared in July 2007. This will make a total
dividend for the year to 30 June 2007 of 10.3p per share, an increase of 10%
over the previous year.
