AGM 2020 - CEO review |
Further to the announcement made on 16 October 2020, in advance of the Close Brothers Group plc (the "Company" or "Close Brothers") Annual General Meeting ("AGM") to be held later today, a short recorded presentation from the Company's Chief Executive, Adrian Sainsbury, setting out a review of the 2020 financial year and the first quarter of the 2021 financial year (the "first quarter") is now available on the Company's website at www.closebrothers.com/investor-relations. The recorded presentation contains publicly available information and follows the release of the Company's trading update for the first quarter earlier today.
As previously announced, due to public health guidelines as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and in light of the measures introduced by the Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act 2020, it will not be possible for shareholders to attend the AGM. Any shareholder seeking to attend the meeting (other than those forming the quorum, which will be facilitated by the Company) will not be admitted.
The results of the AGM will be announced later today.
