Further to the announcement of 18 May 2009, Close Brothers Group plc announces that, following approval by the Financial Services Authority, the sale of Close Brothers Corporate Finance (Holdings) Limited to Daiwa Securities SMBC Europe Limited completed on 1 July 2009.
