Pinnacle Telecom Group plc, (AIM: PINN) the AIM listed provider of integrated telecommunications solutions, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the contract to provide temporary voice and data networks, which will be used to broadcast the sound, for BBC Radio 1Xtra Live from Wembley Arena on Saturday 25 September 2010.
The BBC, using Pinnacle's circuits, will broadcast the event via BBC TV, BBC Radio and online. 2010 marks the third year of BBC Radio 1Xtra Live, which is the UK's biggest free urban music event featuring RnB and Hip Hop artists. This year the line up includes Tinchy Stryder, N-Dubz, Jason Derulo, Tinie Tempah, B.o.B., Roll Deep, Gyptian and Katy B, Devlin and Labrinth.
The Company is also pleased to announce that it has successfully completed contracts for an additional three high-profile events for the BBC. The contracts, which were to provide the connectivity circuits used to broadcast BBC TV and BBC Radio coverage of the TUC Conference in Manchester, the Liberal Democrat Conference in Liverpool and The Great North Run in Newcastle.
