Appointment of Independent Non-Executive Director
CML Microsystems Plc, ("the Group"), which designs, manufactures and markets a broad range of semiconductors, primarily for global communication and data storage markets is pleased to announce the appointment of James Lindop as an Independent Non-Executive Director. The appointment will take effect from 1st April, 2013.
Jim has extensive innovative leadership experience in the technology and engineering sectors, having spent over thirty years in the industry. Most recently he was founder and CEO of Jennic Ltd, a privately held semiconductor company established in 1996 and subsequently acquired by NXP Semiconductors in 2010. Prior to Jennic, he consulted to companies in Cambridge, UK, including Symbionics, building and leading project teams in new wireless technologies. Earlier experience includes working at Rolls Royce designing electronic instrumentation for aero-engines and as a director of engineering at Simmons Limited. Jim holds a BSc and MSc in Electronics from the University of Nottingham.
