COMINO PLC:
CHAIRMAN'S AGM STATEMENT
Comino plc ('Comino'), the provider of software solutions and related call
centre technology to the social housing, local government and occupational
pensions sector, held its Annual General Meeting at 11:30am today.
Following the formal business of themeeting, the Chairman made the following
statement to shareholders:
'Comino was pleased to announce another excellent set of record results and
achievements for the year to 31 March 1999, which have been well received.
Comino's progress has continued and is reflected in our customer base, product
portfolio and profitability. We are also preparing for Comino to join the
Official List this month, moving up from AIM.
In the current year, trading is on target across all three subsidiaries with a
sound balance between recurring revenues, services and new orders. We continue
to actively monitor millennium issues but have seen little impact on trading
to date.'

Editor's notes:
1. Comino has subsidiaries which are based in the Home Counties, Midlands
and Yorkshire. Each subsidiary is a market leader in its chosen sector.
2. Over one and a quarter million tenants and owners of housing association
and local authority properties are assisted by Comino software.
3. Some 40 blue chip organisations use Comino software to help manage their
occupational pension schemes. A similar number of local authority
revenue departments manage enquiries from council tax payers, business
rate payers and housing benefit recipients. Call centre and process-
based workflow techniques are part of these solutions.
