COMINO GROUP PLC: BOARD APPOINTMENT
MARK BOLEAT JOINS COMINO AS NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Comino Group plc ('Comino'), a leading provider of software solutions for the
social housing, occupational pensions and local government sectors, is pleased
to announce the appointment of Mark Boleat as a Non Executive Director, with
immediate effect.
Mark Boleat is 51 and was Director General of the Association of British
Insurers between 1993 and 1999. He was a Board member of the Housing
Corporation between 1988 and 1993 and is presently a non executive Director of
Abbey National Life plc and Scottish Mutual Assurance plc. Mark has held a
number of other executive positions and his experience includes insurance,
housing, banking, community affairs and public policy issues.
He joins David Quysner and Mike Greig as existing non executive Board members
together with Garth Selvey (CE) and Paul Clifford (FD).
Welcoming him to the Board, David Quysner, the Chairman, made the following
comment. 'We are delighted that Mark Boleat is joining the Board of Comino.
He brings with him extensive, relevant experience and is extremely well
equipped to contribute to the development plans of the Comino Group.'
