The Company received notification on 29 November 2000 that under the Companies
Act 1985, the notifiable of Prudential plc in the issued share capital of the
company was 485,141 shares representing 3.55 per cent.
These shares are registered as follows:
PRUCLT HSBC GIS NOM (UK) PAL AC 280,000 2.04%
PRUCLT HSBC GIS NOM (UK) PPL AC 205,141 1.50%
