SUBSTANTIAL SHAREHOLDING NOTIFICATION
The Company received notification on 30 November 2000 that under the Companies
Act 1985, the notifiable interest of Prudential plc in the issued share
capital was 871,759 shares representing 6.38 per cent.
These shares are registered as follows:
