Guinness Peat Group plc ("GPG") announces that it has published the following
documents and that copies are available for inspection at the Document Viewing
Facility of the UK Listing Authority:



  • GPG Annual Report and Accounts 2006 containing Notice of the Annual
    General Meeting to be held on 29 May 2007 ("AGM").



  • GPG Summarised Annual Report and Accounts 2006 also containing Notice of
    the AGM.



  • Circular from GPG explaining to shareholders the Scrip Dividend
    Alternative being offered in lieu of its cash dividend and giving details of
    the proposed Capitalisation Issue.



  • Proxy Form relating to the AGM.



  • Form of Election and Notice of Entitlement and Currency Election Form in
    connection with the Scrip Dividend Alternative or the cash dividend in
    respect of the year ended 31 December 2006.
