                  Re: trade finance agreement with Alphasteel



CCH International PLC (AIM: CCH), the trade finance Group, announces that
further to the statement of 21 February 2007, due to circumstances beyond its
control, CCH will not be proceeding to facilitate a three year finance agreement
with Alphasteel Limited of Wales.  CCH has been reimbursed all of its direct
expenses and has made no financial loss.

In addition, CCH will not at present avail of the sterling denominated financing
facility made available to a CCH subsidiary by the European Islamic Investment
Bank plc ('EIIB').  CCH maintains a strong relationship with EIIB and is
confident of utilising funding facilities to be provided by them in the near
future.
