Commercial International Bank (CIB) announced today that Mr. Mohamed Ashmawy,
Vice Chairman of CIB, was appointed the chairman of newly established entity
(The United Bank).

CIB Board of Directors and Management wish Mr. Ashmawy all the best in his new
appointment. The appointment of new board member in CIB will be announced after
the next board meeting.
