Compass Group announces the acquisition of Life's A Party Group Pty Ltd ("LAPG") in Victoria, Australia

We are pleased to announce today the acquisition of LAPG for a cash consideration of up to AUS$22.5m (approximately £14.1m).

LAPG is a well established food service business, based in Victoria, Australia and operating in the Education and Leisure sectors. LAPG provides an excellent opportunity for Compass Group Australia to expand its existing presence in these two important segments of the market.

LAPG has been acquired by Compass Group (Australia) Pty Ltd from various family trusts of the directors of LAPG, George Michaelides, Fiona Seabridge and Ian McMullin.
