Comland Commercial PLC 13 September 2006 13 September 2006 Comland Commercial PLC Disposal of The Hollywood Arms Hollywood Arms Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Comland Commercial PLC, has completed the sale of the freehold property, goodwill and fixtures and fittings at The Hollywood Arms, 45 Hollywood Road, Fulham, London SW10 9HX to Young and Co's Brewery PLC for a total consideration of £3.85 million. The transfer of the pubic house business constitutes a transfer of undertaking as defined by the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 and therefore all the staff employed by Hollywood Arms Limited have transferred to Young and Co's Brewery PLC. Comland Commercial PLC acquired The Hollywood Arms in April 2004 for a total consideration of £2.5 million. As already reported the business operated from The Hollywood Arms generated a turnover of £731,000 and a loss of £79,000 in the year ended 31 March 2006. The consideration has been satisfied in full, in cash and Comland Commercial PLC will hold the funds to provide additional working capital for the business and reduce the net borrowing of the business in the short term.
