25 August 2020
Corcel Plc, ("Corcel" or "the Company"), the natural resource exploration and development company with interests in battery metals and flexible grid solutions, announces the completion of the field programme at the Dempster Vanadium project in the Yukon, Canada, a project where Corcel has a 50% interest.
The geological team have now demobilised from site following completion of the field programme. Rock and soil samples collected during the programme have been submitted to the lab in Canada, and are now being analysed along with the core pulps, which have been delivered to McGill university for processing at their laboratories as part of the joint venture's collaboration with a McGill PhD candidate. The results of the programme and the lab analysis of the sampling will be announced in due course, likely during September.
Scott Kaintz, Chief Executive Officer commented:
"Corcel is pleased to report a successful exploration season in the Yukon this month. Despite some logistical challenges associated with COVID, the team was able to accomplish its exploration objectives in a timely manner and the collected samples have been sent to the appropriate labs for processing. We look forward to announcing the results once available."
