MONDAS PLC
('Mondas' or 'the Group')
AGM Statement
At today's Annual General Meeting Colin Peters, Chairman, Mondas plc will
make the following statement:
'In October we announced a third work order from Credit Suisse First Boston
(Europe) Limited and a substantial upgrade to the Brewin Dolphin Securities
system. Our implementation at HSBC has successfully passed an important
milestone, and is expected to be fully operational during our second half.
In our Resource division, the emphasis on the education market is increasing.
The Group continues to build on its relationship with Pearson Phoenix.
Whilst these agreements support the realignment in the Group's strategy, we
accept there will be considerable challenges ahead in rebuilding the Group.
Financial performance across the Group has improved quarter on quarter during
the period. The order book is more encouraging compared to this time last year
with the performance of the Banking and Securities division in particular
showing substantial improvement. '
