Cranswick plc (the 'Company')

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock
Exchange for 35,607 Ordinary Shares of 10p each (the 'shares') to trade on the
London Stock Exchange and to be admitted to the Official List upon issuance. The
shares rank pari passu with the existing issued shares of the Company.

These shares are being issued as a result of elections received pursuant to the
scrip dividend offer in respect of the interim dividend for the year ended 31
March 2002.
