Cranswick plc - Listing of shares pursuant to scrip dividend offer

Application has been made today to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock
Exchange for a listing of 83,367 ordinary shares of 10p each to be admitted to
the Official List. These shares rank pari passu with the existing issued shares
of the Company.

These ordinary shares are to be issued as a result of elections received
pursuant to the scrip dividend offer in respect of the final dividend for the
year ended 31 March 2004.

A copy of the Scrip Dividend Scheme circular has been submitted to the UK
Listing Authority and will shortly be available for inspection at the UK Listing
Authority's Document Viewing Facility, which is situated at:
