                                BOARD APPOINTMENT


The Board of Creightons plc (the 'Company') announces that, with effect from
today, Bill Glencross has been appointed to the Company's main board as an
executive director, and to the board of Potter & Moore Innovations Limited, the
Company's wholly-owned contracts division subsidiary, as Managing Director. Bill
will be primarily responsible for the day-today operations of the Group's
contracts division based at Peterborough.

Bill has been Deputy Managing Director of Potter & Moore Innovations Limited
since the Company's acquisition of the Potter & Moore business two and a half
years ago.

Bill has many years' experience in both the branded and private label
businesses, having been Sales & Marketing Director of Jean Sorelle and Potter &
Moore, and was previously general manager of the Fine fragrance division of
Shulton (Great Britain) Limited, part of Cyanamid Group Ltd.

Current and past directorships of William Torrance Glencross (aged 58) held 
within the last five years are set out below:
