1999 Final Dividend - Scrip Alternative
CRH plc announces that, under the Company's Scrip Dividend Scheme, 32.15% of its
Ordinary Shareholders elected to receive shares in lieu of cash in respect of
all or part of their Final Dividend for 1999 to be paid on 8th May 2000.
As a result, a total of 814,452 Ordinary Shares of EUR0.32 each have been
allotted. An application has been made to the Stock Exchange for admission of
the new shares to the Official List and dealing in the new shares is expected to
commence on Monday, 8th May 2000.
