47,454,013 Ordinary Shares of CRH plc representing 8.87 per cent of the
Company's issued Ordinary Share Capital.  The notification states:

  • 21,050 units are registered in the nominee name of BNY (OCS) Nominees
    Limited,
  • 31,206 units are registered in the name of Vidacos Nominees Limited (FGN),
  • 1,267,999 units are registered in the name of BNY Custodial Nominees,
  • 481,720 units are registered in the name of Citibank Nominees Ltd,
  • 924,470 units are registered in the name of Mellon Nominees Limited,
  • 1,959,897 units are registered in the name of Nortrust Nominees Ltd,
  • 590,091 units are registered in the name of Roy Nominees Limited,
  • 273,769 units are registered in the name of Euroclear Nominees Limited,
  • 222,377 units are registered in the name of BNY Custodial Nominees
    (Ireland) Limited and
  • 41,681,434 units are registered in the name of Bank of Ireland Nominees
    Ltd

as registered owner only, on behalf of a range of clients each of whom are the
beneficial owner of a portion of the holding.'
