                     2001 Final Dividend Scrip Alternative

The price of a New Share in respect of the 2001 Final Dividend Scrip Alternative
will be €18.68. The entitlement will be one New Share for every 143.692307
shares held where dividend withholding tax applies and for every 114.953846
shares held where dividend withholding tax does not apply.
