RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that on 18^th November 2010 it transferred to the Trustees of its employee share participation scheme 32,094 Ordinary Shares at €13.51 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transaction, CRH plc holds 9,650,218 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 708,858,695.
