RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that on 25^th November 2010 it transferred to the Trustees of its employee share participation schemes 227,218 Ordinary Shares at €14.225 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transaction, CRH plc holds 9,411,855 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 709,097,058.
