Technical Fibre Products: Expansion of production capacity
The Company's Technical Fibre Products ("TFP") division, a manufacturer of advanced nonwovens, has today announced a commitment to double their current production capacity through the installation of a third manufacturing line based on the company's current proprietary wet-laid technology in response to increasing demand for TFP's nonwovens.
Martin Thompson, Managing Director of TFP, comments that: "The installation of a third production line at TFP is an exciting and necessary step to meet rapidly increasing demand and facilitate the delivery of the company's growth strategy. The installation of the new line is expected to be complete in summer 2015 and represents the latest step in an accelerated programme of capacity and capability improvements for the company, facilitating an increase in capacity to support sales growth, enabling shorter lead times and providing the opportunity to access new markets for which current production constraints have been a limitation."
