The Company announces that following his resignation as a director of James Cropper EBT Ltd (established to hold shares in the Company for the purpose of the long term incentive plan), the Company's Honorary President Sir J. A. Cropper's, non-beneficial interest in the Company has been reduced by 60,000 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares").

Sir J. A. Cropper's current beneficial and non-beneficial interests in the Company are:
