The Carphone Warehouse Group PLC ('Company')
Director Shareholding
The Company gives notice that the Company's Employee Share Ownership Trust ('EBT
') has today purchased 5 million shares in the Company at 147 pence per share.
Executive directors of the Company are classed as being discretionary
beneficiaries of the EBT and are consequently considered to be interested in
such shares held by the EBT. However, such shares are not presently being
awarded by the EBT under any scheme or otherwise to any beneficiary and any
future specific award to any specific executive director would be announced
separately at the time of such award.
