Board Change
Cyan Holdings Plc (AIM:CYAN.L), the fabless semiconductor company specialising
in the development of low power consumption, configurable microcontroller chips,
announces that Dr. Paul Johnson, Founder, President and CTO, has resigned with
immediate effect from the Board of Cyan and as a director of the Company.
Dr. Johnson founded Cyan in November 2002 and was CEO and CTO up to the recent
reorganization and appointment of Kenn Lamb as CEO, at which time Paul moved
into the position of President and CTO full-time.
Dr. John Read, interim Chairman, commented: 'Paul's technical vision was
invaluable in establishing the initial products for the Company and, in
particular, in inventing and defining the Cyan IDE development environment to
become what we believe to be one of the most user-friendly software development
environments in the industry and is the subject of a patent application made in
February 2004. The Board wishes Paul every success for the future.'
